Terms and Conditions for Sales

The sale will be conducted by Wrightsons, according to the New Zealand Stock and Station Agents Association Condition of Sale, as posted. Special conditions will apply.

1. Each lot shall become the property, responsibility and risk of the purchaser at the fall of the hammer.
2. Terms are cash unless prior arrangements have been made with Wrightsons.
3. Insurance will be available on the day by request, to cover your requirements.
4. Delivery dockets must be signed, giving explicit transport, velveting and any insurance instructions to our clerks.
5. Unless otherwise requested, velveting prior to delivery will be arranged by the vendor, at the risk of the purchaser. Velvet will be sold directly on account of Pampas Heights.
6. An overriding commission of 4% is available to other recognised livestock companies and deer agents with approved credit facilities, introducing and accompanying buyers to the sale, by arrangement with the Auctioneers, THE DAY PRIOR TO THE SALE, AND SETTLEMENT ON THE BUYER’S BEHALF WITHIN 14 DAYS.
7. All stags will be velveted within 48 hours of the sale and animals are to be uplifted from Pampas Heights within fourteen days of the sale please. Grazing adjustment will accrue at $10 per week from 23 January 2008. (Any buyers wanting heads grown out must arrange grazing and details directly with the owner please – not through Wrightson’s.)
8. The sale will be conducted exclusive of GST.
9. Our herd TB status is C10. We have never had a bovine reactor in our herd history.
10. No animals, embryos or semen sold by Pampas Heights or their germ plasm, any subsequent progeny or germ plasm, including the semen or germ plasm from that progeny, may be supplied to any third party without the prior written permission of Pampas Heights. This condition does not affect normal commercial deer farming or stud farming or their normal sales of semen or embryos as it only applies to entities with the primary function of commercial semen/germ plasm activity.
